Who runs this beta

You Styled It is operated by the You Styled It team, based in Illinois, United States. For privacy questions, email support@youstyledit.com.

Information you provide

You provide your email address and password to our account service when you create an account. Your online wardrobe stores clothing details and photos you add, along with saved outfits. Details can include names, categories, colors, materials, patterns, and occasions.

We use this information to sign you in, verify your email, support password recovery, save your wardrobe, and help you create and save outfits. If you rate an outfit, we store your rating, optional change categories, and the clothing details for that combination. We use this feedback to personalize your recommendations: rejected combinations are skipped and liked pieces receive more preference for the same occasion. You can also save instructions to avoid two specific pieces together or prefer casual or dress shoes for an occasion. These preferences are private to your account (or your browser in guest mode), and you can remove instructions or change ratings in Your outfit feedback. A Love it rating clears instructions on that review. The latest active shoe instruction for an occasion takes priority. This is rule-based personalization, not automatic model training.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond to your request. Report a problem opens a draft in your email app with a public page name and address, plus blank prompts. It does not automatically include your account details, wardrobe photos, passwords, or verification codes, and it does not send the email for you. Review your message and remove private details from screenshots before sending.

Storage and service providers

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides authentication, website hosting, and online wardrobe and photo storage. Account and wardrobe services are configured in the United States, in Northern Virginia. Website content is delivered through AWS’s content-delivery network.

Online records and photos are associated with your account. Photo storage is private. The app uses temporary photo links; anyone you share one with may be able to view that photo while the link remains valid.

Flat-lay background removal runs on your device. The app downloads its processing model from our hosting service; garment photos are not sent to an external image-processing service. Temporary cutouts stay in page memory and are cleared when you close or reload the app, or change accounts. Your saved original photos are unchanged.

The current beta does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics integrations, or an external AI service for processing wardrobe photos.

Information on your device

Guest wardrobes are saved in the browser where you create them. Signing in does not automatically upload or erase them. You can choose to import browser data into your account.

The app also uses browser storage to support sign-in. Downloaded backups contain wardrobe details and photos. You control where you keep or share those files.

Retention and deletion

Your online wardrobe and photos remain stored until removed through a deletion process. Deleting a clothing item does not currently guarantee removal of its uploaded photo. Saved outfits may retain clothing details and photo references. Unused photos can remain in private storage.

To delete your entire account and online data, follow the account-deletion instructions. The support team confirms your request, disables sign-in, allows existing sessions and upload links to expire, and then removes the account, wardrobe records, saved outfits, outfit feedback, and all versions of uploaded photos. This is a manual process and is not immediate.

Wardrobe records can remain in recovery backups for up to 35 days. Completed deletion requests must be reapplied before restored recovery data is made available. Older photo versions are normally configured to expire after 30 days; full account deletion removes all versions from the active photo bucket.

The storage service keeps operational logs for 14 days. Its application logs omit request contents and sign-in tokens. Deleting online data does not remove downloaded backups or browser-only wardrobes; remove those copies separately.

Your choices and requests

You can edit clothing details, download a wardrobe backup, change feedback, and request account deletion. For access, correction, privacy concerns, or help with a request, email support@youstyledit.com. We may verify account ownership before providing or removing personal data. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.

This beta is intended for adults. Please do not upload photos of other people without their permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.

Security

The app uses HTTPS connections, account-based access controls, and private photo storage. No service can guarantee absolute security. Please upload clothing photos and avoid images containing sensitive personal information.
